PESU TOUGHING AGENT
The PESU toughening agent is a kind of aromatic amorphous polymer containing sulfonyl groups in its chemical structure. It has excellent mechanical properties, dielectric properties, heat resistance, flame retardancy, creep resistance and chemical stability. It is widely used in the modification systems of thermosetting plastics. Through the melting process, it can enhance the toughness, impact resistance and fatigue resistance of thermosetting materials, and can be applied in the aerospace field and other areas.
Customized polyphenylene ether sulfone
Horan has the ability to customize polyphenylene ether sulfone toughening agents according to different usage needs. It can modify and customize the molecular chain segment structure, molecular weight size, end functional groups, and powder particle size of polyphenylene ether sulfone toughening agents;
Phenolphthalein groups, bisphenol A structures, and fluoroketone structures can be introduced to achieve copolymerization modification of poly (arylene ether sulfone) resin during the polymerization stage, which can effectively improve the toughening effect and significantly enhance the solubility of poly (arylene ether sulfone) in thermosetting resin systems. At the same time, the introduction of other functional groups can significantly increase the glass transition temperature Tg of poly (arylene ether sulfone), thereby improving the temperature resistance of composite materials.

| Customized Series | Changes in the polymerization process can achieve a weight-average molecular weight ranging from 4×10⁴ to 16×10⁴ to meet different usage requirements. Through the end-capping control during the polymerization process, an average of 1.0 to 1.9 terminal hydroxyl groups can be achieved per 100 repeating polymerization units, which can provide good adhesiveness. Phenolphthalein groups and bisphenol A structures can be introduced, and copolymer modification can be realized during the PESU polymerization stage. In the post-treatment process, the particle size of the powder can be controlled to make the D90 range of the powder particle size 20 μm to 500 μm, adapting to different application environments. |
